Discover the wild at Buffalo Pound! With snowshoes strapped on and a handy pair of binoculars around your neck, a Park Interpreter will lead you through the snow-covered valley of Buffalo Pound in search of the wildlife that calls the park home. Follow tracks and look for signs that animals are near. Who knows what you will find? Plan 90 minutes for this 2 km moderate snowshoe.

PLEASE NOTE: If there is not sufficient snow, this program will be offered as a guided hike. If temperatures in the program location are below -26°C with the wind chill, this program will be cancelled, and an alternative activity will be offered in the Visitor Centre.

Cancellations will be made 24 hours in advance, and all pre-registrants will be notified via email. Visitors are welcome to drop into programming if registration is closed, pending equipment availability.
