Movie: Carnival of Souls
Where: Performing Arts Theatre at Moose Jaw Public Library

One of the original cult horror movies, Carnival of Souls is the hypnotic story of a woman who survives a deadly car accident to go on to be haunted by the image of a mysterious man as she struggles to adapt to a new city and is entranced by an abandoned carnival pavilion. Shot on a small budget using a lot of guerilla filmmaking, the ingenuity of its evocative dread and surreal style makes it a uniquely spooky nightmare of a film. Starring Candace Hilligoss and Herk Harvey, also the film’s director.

Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:20.
