One of the most important and influential of all horror movies, Nosferatu - the first, unlicensed adaptation of Dracula, remains as creeping and effective as it was on release one hundred and one years ago. Dripping with gothic atmosphere and the signature visual aesthetics of German Expressionism, it is among the most stunning and evocative movies of the silent film era. Directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schreck as the iconic Count Orlok.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards to be held around 7:40 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre.
